Shamarr Allen and the Underdawgs served up an eclectic musical feast at the Jazz Tent this year featuring traditional  jazz standards from the “Meet Me on Frenchman St.” CD, to  the self descirbed brand new “Box Who In?” CD.  From jazz to rap to rock to funk,  Shamarr and his “Underdawgs” were a definite crowd pleaser, just look at their faces!  Oh, not like that wasn’t enough, Shamarr is now in the studio with new cohort Willie Nelson working on Willie’s new cd…………So how much longer will we be able to enjoy Shamarr Allen regularly in New Orleans?
