New Orleans’s own, Shamarr Allen, will be appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday  February 16, 2009.  As previously announced, he will be heading out on the Willie and the Wheel tour on the 11th, appearing with Willie Nelson and Asleep at the Wheel.  This is exciting news for both Shamarr and his fans, both locally and across the United States. Please assist us in spreading the word. Also, Shamarr told me that yesterday, Willie Nelson had the Austin City Limits recording, which was scheduled for Mardi Gras Day, moved up a day so that Shamarr will NOT miss his first Mardi Gras ever!  That’s pretty damn cool…..Congrats again Shamarr!!
