This Mardi Gras I spent the greater part of the day with my friend Big Chief Monk Boudreaux and the Golden Eagle Mardi Gras Indians runnin the streets Uptown, what an incredible way to spend the day. My friend Eric Heigle came along and held the drum beats on the march from Monk’s all the way to Second and Dryades. Along the way we ran into a bunch of other tribes and then hooked up with friends Cyril and Gayneille Neville, Billy Iuso, and many more……We left from there with Phil Breen and headed downtown to try and catch some of the downtown tribes……I wound up cruising over to Treme and caught up with a few but the sun was comin down….headed back to Frenchmen and the Quarter for a bit, then on in…..Was a GREAT day all around…here are some of the images from my travels…..Enjoy!!!
