11-22-11
Following up on the Native Orleanian Fine Photography/Whiskey Blue event on September 29th, I am happy to say that the final tally on donations directly benefiting musicians for pieces sold with autographs and the donation to the Musicians Clinic totaled $394.91!! I am delivering checks to the clinic today for $191.41 and musicians benefited directly in the amt of $200 from sales of autographed pieces sold! Once again, I would like to thank everyone who supported and attended this memorable event, and my corporate partner The Gerber Group/Whiskey Blue New Orleans. Can’t wait till the next event…….Jerry
10-4-11 After several phone calls yesterday alerting me that my web store was down I discovered that the server for my store host was down all day yesterday. Everything is back up and working now. Since the store was basically unavailable yesterday I am EXTENDING this web event 1 more day through Wednesday October 5th, my apologies for any inconvenience.
The event at Whiskey Blue last week was a blast and a success. Autographed prints and canvases were purchased at the event itself whereby the musicians represented in the purchased pieces benefited directly from these sales as always. Additionally a percentage of these same sales and Whiskey Blue’s Bar sales that evening will be donated to the New Orleans Musicians Clinic. For all those that were unable to attend, as stated in my initial event invite, I will be having a “Web Store Event” from today, 10-1-11 thru Tuesday 10-4-11. I will donate a percentage of ALL sales made within this time period to the New Orleans Musicians Clinic. All purchases during this period will also be able to enjoy a 15% discount of regular pricing by entering “Musicians Clinic” in the coupon code box at checkout. All genres of my work including architecture and culture are included in this event. My web store can be accessed thru the “store” tab on my website at http://nativeorleanian.com/ If you don’t see an image that you are interested in within my web store or have any questions at all, do not hesitate to contact me directly. This is a great opportunity for all to save a few bucks and support the Musicians Clinic at the same time.
Some pics from event last night, what an incredible evening….thanks to all in attendance for the vast majority of the evening including, Kermit Ruffins, Johnny Sansone, Johnny Vidacovich, Uncle Lionel Batiste Fan Club, Little Freddie King and Wade, Sam Williams, Anders Osborne, David Carson,Ernie Vincent, Colin Lake, and for the awesome assistance from Ashley Lanaux, Meaghan and Sam from Whiskey Blue and Charles Ted Oliphant for snappin a few images…..truly a special evening I will not soon forget….;-)
