There was soooo much great music out there over the weekend and such wonderful people, my favorites were of course Ernie Vincent and the Top Notes, kinda expected cause I manage them too…that being said Sonny Landreth was on fire, Buddy Guy brought his powerful self as usual, but I think the shows I really enjoyed most were a couple  that were on the small stage which was conveniently right next to my photography tent!  On Saturday it was really nice to see JD Hill  and the Jammers(used to live for those Tuesday shows at Benny’s back in the day), Robert Belfour blew me away as usual, on Sunday a pleasant mesmerizing surprise was Chris Smither and I think the one I enjoyed most was T-Model Ford, nothing like watching and listening to these old guys taking over a crowd and putting them under a beautiful spell…….it was quite nice indeed!!   For those who would like to see a musical slideshow of these images with my new favorite T-Model Ford playin in the background(Crank that sound up for this one!!), just click on the Portfolio/Slideshow tab above and enjoy!
